How are you spending your Black Friday this year?
Before I owned my business I was one of those “shoppers” that woke up at 3am to make it to the stores by 4am.
Still stuffed from Thanksgiving dinner, I put on my sweats and slept in them so I didn’t have to change in the morning. Then I shopped until I dropped and worked off that turkey, mashed potatoes and sweet potato pie. Okay, and pecan pie!
It was great exercise plus what can I say? I am one of those girls who could totally be a professional shopper for a living. My Black Friday shopping strategy? One for you, two for me. One gift for someone on my Christmas list and two gifts for me.
Don’t judge me.
But this Black Friday for the first time, I won’t be shopping.
I will be doing something even more exciting than pushing my way through ridiculous huge crowds, waiting in 3 hour long lines to buy new pairs of shoes that are 80% off. I know riiiight? What could possibly be more exciting than 80% off shoes?
My business. My dream business, that is!
This Black Friday I will be spending my day promoting and selling my digital products and I encourage you to do the same.
You see, Black Friday is the busiest shopping day of the year!
In fact, last year 67.7 billion dollars was spent on Black Friday alone! So this is a HUGE opportunity for you to get a piece or even just a slither of that pie.
Here are 3 ways you can do just that…
- Instagram- If you are posting on Instagram, they now have an option to turn your personal account into a business account. And it comes with all kinds of amazing tools like being able to see the analytics of where your audience primarily resides, their age, etc. You can also add a contact button to your profile that will lead your audience to your email, business phone number and your location (if you have a brick and mortar). And my favorite part of all… is that you can now promote/ advertise your posts and reach thousands of potential buyers for as little as $5 a day!
- Promote your Business on other Instagram pages – Look for large accounts with a massive following that has your ideal audience and reach out to them and see if they do promos, many of them do. Some let you use your own pics, content and will even post your link in their bio for several hours. This is a great way to get your business in front of thousands of potential customers.
- Collaborate- The fastest way to grow your business is to collaborate. Business is hard to go it alone. You should always have at least a few people who can help you out and vice versa. You can do this in way of collaboration. What other businesses do you know? How can they help you get your product or service in front of their audience? Reach out to other businesses that are in your Facebook groups or that you’ve networked with in the past. Preferably reach out to businesses who aren’t direct competitors of yours. For instance, if you sell a weight loss product, then maybe you reach out to a gym or a personal trainer or a health coach. Your weight loss product could be an extension of their services and vice versa. You can promote each other’s businesses on your social media, you can swap your email lists and/or contacts or you can even bundle your items together and create a Holiday bundle that can be sold to both of your audiences.
These are just some of the sales strategies I will be using this Holiday Season to double or even triple my sales. If you are interested in learning more ways to increase your sales check out our NEW Sleigh Your Sales Workshop. http://sleighyoursales.gr8.com/
It’s 21 days full of sales strategies that I’ve personally used to build multi-million dollar businesses in Corporate America for the last 15 years of my career and to build my dream digital company into a six-figure business in less than one year.
