I’m wondering…are you ready to fast-track your goals and dreams?
Did you start this year strong… and now you’re wondering where your drive has gone??
When it comes to working on, and getting ready to fast-track your goals and dreams there’s one thing for sure – you’ve got to be consistent.
Your goals aren’t just around for rainy days when you’ve got nothing else to do.
Nor are they only there to be worked on when you’re feeling really good.
You should never let your mood affect your motivation!
Unfortunately though, it inevitably does…
We’ve all been there!
When you know you have something that you NEED. TO. GET. DONE.
But you just can’t be bothered to do it.
(Hands up who’s with me…!)
I had the most crazy schedule EVER last month.
Travelling to Spain, San Diego, South Africa, Los Angeles, London, and 3 other cities in the UK…
Doing 4 awesome talks to crowds of more than 1000 people (YAY!)…
And filming 40 episodes of a new self development & business development TV show for you…
It was FUN!
And it was exhausting.
I felt like I had so much to do that I couldn’t think straight, and I found it hard to feel connected and inspired.
Fast forward just a few weeks though and I’m back here in Los Angeles, feeling grateful for everything I’ve learned from the challenges.
Here’s my big 3 takeaways:
- You must be aligned with your bigger purpose and goals.
When the going gets tough, you need your big why reason to pull you through. Having meaning and purpose to what you do makes it easier for you to become successful, and on those days when you just feel like giving up, you can remind yourself why you actually do what you do.
Remember who it is that is out there that needs your help and who you and your business are here to serve. By making your work meaningful you are sure to continue making progress towards your goals.
- You must look after your energy.
If you don’t look after yourself nobody else is going to do it for you… and if you’re unwell and you run a business, guess what? You can’t work! And you definitely can’t fast-track your goals! It’s better to prevent additional stress and worry by staying fit and healthy rather than try and clean up the mess afterwards.
You can also take care of your energy on a more subtle level, by checking in with who you’re surrounding yourself with, and how they affect how you feel. Spring is fast approaching which means it might just be time to take an emotional cleanse and let go of the experiences, situations, tasks, and people, that aren’t serving your best self and your goals.
- You have to be consistent
I mentioned this at the beginning of this post, and it’s soooooo super important I’m hitting you with it again here. Repetition is key. If you want to grow yourself and your business you need to be working on it every single day. Gary Vee didn’t get to where he is now by working when he felt like it, or giving up on himself.
Instead what we see is when you want to fast track your goals and dreams, you have to get real. You have to give stuff up, and you have to get committed. This might mean you need to first own up to where you’re not showing consistency and commitment and ask for some help.
Maybe it’s reaching out to another Boss Babe, or finding an accountability partner. Maybe it’s taking a new course to keep you on track, or working with a coach.
What I know for sure is that doing something is better than doing nothing.
Do something today…
Take the fast track to your goals and dreams.
