Start Fresh With Your Instagram

Are you posting on instagram every day but not seeing the growth you want? You’re not attracting new followers to your instagram or bringing in sales?

You’ve spent hours looking at every influencer’s account and wonder why she has a huge following but you don’t?

I’ve been there too. It’s not fun.

You can post all the pictures in the world, but if your Instagram is not set up for success, you’re wasting your time posting and you’ll keep struggling to attract your ideal following until you change something and fix it.

Even worse, when you’re doing it wrong, you risk making a bad first impression for your brand.

I know how frustrating it is to post and not see the likes come in.

Or see people follow you just to unfollow you the next day.

Don’t forget, I started at 0 just like you did.
I had to work to build my IG community to 16,000 members.

But was the hard work worth me being able to quit that old job to work from home in my fave athleisure, travel when I want, and pick my own schedule?

Simply stated….. um yes.

So if you’re already working hard to make your account more discoverable and you’re still not seeing results, your problem is most likely with your content.

It’s not your fault that it’s been such a struggle so far. Good advice on how to build your Instagram account is really hard to find.

When you’re first starting out, it can be really overwhelming to know what the right things to do are.

What I suggest is to start fresh and review your Instagram account.

If you do an audit the right way, and you make the right changes, you can start seeing growth really quickly and start seeing the results you’re after!

Step 1: Look at your account with fresh eyes. Would you follow you on Instagram if you weren’t you?

No? Then we got some work to do!

Get into the mindset of your IDEAL follower. What kind of posts does she typically like? Who does she follow? What posts does she comment on?

People approach following you on instagram with the WIIFM mentality.

They ask “What’s in it for me?”
If your posts aren’t inspiring, engaging, motivating or helpful chances are you’re not giving your target audience much of a reason to follow you.

Step 2: Go through every aspect of your account and audit it by asking yourself the questions below:

Look at your bio.

Does it inspire anyone to follow you? Does it foreshadow the amazing content you have to share? If not, it’s time to update it.

Look at your profile picture.

Is it eye-catching? Is it different from the rest and enough to get someone to click instead of continue on scrolling?

Look at your 12 picture grid

Instagram is a visual platform. Are your pictures bright, beautiful, and high-quality? No one likes a grainy picture.

Audit Your Captions

Are you starting a conversation that people want to engage with?

Audit Your Link In Bio

If your strategy is to send people to your website to make a purchase or sign up with you, how can you make sure the link in your bio is explained properly to motivate someone to click?
