Success Secrets From Boss Babe CEO
Natalie an avid supporter of female entrepreneurs in this interview taken from The Personal Brand Bible for Ambitious Women shares secrets behind her success:
I have several mentors. It’s so helpful to have people who have done what I’m trying to do. Sometimes my mentors just give me advice. They are so important. I’ve learned to never be afraid to contact someone who can help me.
Learn New Skills
All day and all night, I was learning. I worked so many hours every single day to learn about the business. It was absolutely exhausting. I remember thinking so many times, “Is this even worth it?”
Master Your Mindset
Mindset is everything in business. You can have a shitty day, but if you believe in yourself and keep going, you’ll become stronger. Entrepreneurship is an emotional journey.
Routines Are Important
I have a meeting with myself each week. It may sound strange, but I block time out to assess where I’m going, what works well, and where I need to spend more time. I work out every single day. Monday through Friday, no matter how busy I am. I believe that keeps your mind in a healthy place. When you’re an entrepreneur, it’s easy to let yourself go sometimes.
Tips on Building a Personal Brand
1. Get Clear On Your Niche – What’s your core message? What do you stand for? Also, what do you stand against? You have to be real. Find out who you need to appeal to.
2. Be Relatable – Don’t think you have to reinvent yourself fully; it’s totally okay to look to those who inspire you for guidance.
3. Be Consistent – If you’re visible, then your branding needs to be coherent.
